A while back I wrote a post about Harley-Davidson’s production of an all-electric motorcycle. In the post I quoted the President and Chief Executive Officer of Harley-Davidson, Matt Levatich, from his Quarterly Earnings Conference Call. These types of calls are a way for companies to relay information to all interested parties, including institutional and individual investors. Conference calls allow companies to highlight successes during prosperous times and calm fears during adverse ones. I was able to review the transcript of the Harley-Davidson CEO Earnings Conference Call by registering online with a company Seeking Alpha. If you are interested in the investment/business end of the manufacturer of your motorcycle (Harley-Davidson, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, BMW, Indian, etc.), please check out seekingalpha.com. Once you register your e-mail you will be able to read transcripts of CEO’s quarterly Earnings Calls as well as obtain business/investment news regarding the company that manufacturers your motorcycle.
